Reformed UFOQ Coalition Party candidates won by landslide victory in the recent election for UFOQ 2017-2018 executive officers held last Friday afternoon, September 8, 2017 at the Philippine Embassy in Qatar.  The election was participated in by 135 organizations under the UFOQ umbrella, so far the most-participated UFOQ election since the past three years. 

The newly elected UFOQ officers for the financial year 2017-2018, who were all running from the Coalition party are - Engr. Henry Dimaano - Chairman, who represents Helping, Empowering, Recognizing OFWs (HERO) Qatar got 81 votes over his opponent Ms. Mindamor Salmani who got 52 votes; Mr. Jafar Abdulhamid who represents the Filipino Muslim Community got stunning votes of 100 over his opponent Mr. Florentino Roque who got 33 votes only; Ms....

AFJQ Teleradyo: Bold, honest, frank and here to stay

Staying true to our commitment of responding to the information needs of the growing Filipino community in Qatar, the Alliance of Filipino Journalists in Qatar (AFJQ) has launched a Teleradyo, an online news program featuring live interviews and discussions on pressing issues concerning overseas Pinoy. 

AFJQ Teleradyo was launched in collaboration with the United Filipino Organizations in Qatar (UFOQ) and had so far aired eight episodes touching on various topics ranging from labor issues, Embassy initiatives, success stories, livelihood and events.
